So, it's my first post on my new blog, which is currently untitled because when I created it, I wasn't feeling inspired enough to come up with a good title. Maybe, if I actually get some followers on this thing, I'll let them (you?) submit a name.
Being that this is a first blog and all, I guess I should tell you a bit about myself. My name is Mackenzie Borek. I hail from the small town of Black River Falls, Wisconsin, but I am headed off to the big bad city (just kidding, I know Eau Claire isn't too big) for college in approximately two months. This is both exciting, and a little scary, because I'M MOVING OUT! Which I obviously haven't done before. But, I think I'll have fun too. I'm moving into an "overflow room" in my dorm, which baiscally means "hey, sorry, we didn't have room for your sorry a**es in any other place, so we thought we'd toss you in here, cheers!" Fortunately, my new 'mates seem pretty cool, from what we've seen of one another on Facebook. Also, did I mention that our room, while being a six-person-room, will only be housing four of us? To quote our dearly messed up celebrity friend Charlie Sheen, "uh, WINning."
My life at home is pretty normal, at least it is to me. I live at home in good ol' BeRF with my parents and my brother, who will be a junior this year, and my adorable, spoiled brat of a dog, Bella. I won't go too deep into detail on that just yet, I think I'll save it for some day when I have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to write about.
Since it is past 11:00, and I still want to get in an episode of my latest Guilty Pleasure (just kidding, I totally don't feel guilty about it) the BBC version of Robin Hood before I go to bed, I think I'll cut off the printing press for the night. If all goes well, I should be able to say something else tomorrow!
